The Inspiration Behind This Blog: The Journey and Purpose Explained

I created this blog because I felt the need to put myself out there as a Christian. I normally am not the type of person to speak out on things because I usually feel everyone else does a better job at that than I. However, I recently had a burning need to speak my mind on the experience of being a Christian, so I decided to make this.

This could be the start of something new.

Finding a Voice in a Crowded Space

The internet is full of information, but not all of it feels relevant or unbiased. I have used the internet for the majority of my life. In those years, I have seen the internet go from a place where people who couldn't fit into an extroverted world convene to a place that is pretty much a mirror of the way the world operates. I have seen the internet turn from a place where different perspectives are welcomed to a place where you have to make a completely different platform in order to not be harassed by someone you have never met. I have seen it turn from a place where amazingly creative people share their art to a place where everyone blatantly copies some else's work and puts their name on it. I need to point out that the majority of what I witnessed was done by unbelievers. When I became a Christian, the kind of behavior I saw in believers shocked the heck out of me. It honestly surprised me. I had been unaware of the absolute vitriol and stupidity people spew while quoting scripture. I see much of the same behavior (especially online) in believers that I have seen in unbelievers.

Sharing What Matters Most

This blog focuses on topics that matter to me and, I hope, to my readers. Whether it’s personal growth, practical advice, or stories of overcoming obstacles, each post aims to provide value. I want readers to leave with something useful—whether it’s a new perspective, a helpful tip, or simply a feeling of encouragement.

Building a Community Through Blogging

I am not much of a community builder. I am usually a community joiner. In junior high school, high school, and college I never created any groups or teams. I only joined the ones that were there. I don't know if anything that I post on here is appealing to anyone. I just know that these posts were laying on my heart.

I can't help but be honest in saying that I don't know if there are many Christians who ask the same questions I ask. I don't know if there are any who wonder about the same topics that I wander about. However, I make sincere posts about whatever I what is on my heart.

Learning and Growing Together

Starting this blog was also a learning experience for me. Writing regularly has improved my skills and expanded my knowledge. I research topics, search the scriptures, and strive to present information clearly and accurately. This commitment to quality benefits both the writers and the readers.

We also adapt based on feedback. When readers suggest topics or point out areas for improvement, we listen and adjust. This ongoing process keeps the blog fresh and relevant.

The Role of Passion and Purpose

Passion fuels this blog. Without genuine interest in the subjects I cover, the blog would lack energy and authenticity. My purpose is clear: to inspire, inform, and connect. This focus guides every post and decision.

For instance, when choosing topics, I ask: does this align with our mission? Will it help or inspire someone? If the answer is yes, I move forward. If not, I reconsider.

Looking Ahead: What to Expect

The journey is just beginning. My commitment is to keep the blog a place of growth and connection.

I want readers to feel that this blog is a trusted companion on their own journeys. Whether they visit for advice, inspiration, or simply a moment of reflection, I aim to provide content that makes a difference.
